I wasn’t bullshitting you when I said I’m serious about my new YouTube channel. It’ll all become clearer when my next major book release lands but for now I’ll remain cryptic. So far I’ve recorded FIVE full podcasts, averaging half and hour a piece. They are a mix of reader questions and things which came to me during my long walks. So far three of them are live:
#1 – From Intermediate To Advanced Game
#2 – The Balance Between Nice Guy and Bad Boy
#3 – The Solo Daygame Mindset
I will continue to record and upload more, hopefully getting in more reader’s questions next time. Subscribe to my channel here to get fastest access. I don’t always announce new shows on my blog.

The first was good but the second was awesome. Adding Tom made you both better. Your off the cuff explanation of the romance novel meta-narrative was astounding.

Nick, you talk about practising mindfulness to get yourself out of your head.
Something I enjoy doing is improvised poetry as I’m walking between sets. I find this keeps my mind in a ‘nimble’ state which makes conversations in set more unpredictable and enjoyable.
For example, if I’m walking through a park and see a squirrel I might come up with:
A squirrel eats a nut a day,
A cow eats grass and sometimes hay.
If I had time, I’d love to stay,
And play with you until the month of May.
The key to it is not thinking. I’m not trying to construct a good poem. I just say a line and then start to say the next line before I’ve any idea how to finish it. Nine times out of ten my brain pulls out some appropriate words.

Nick, Can you do a section on how to day game with a Wing? Would be interesting to see some infields from you or Tom where you open a two set together (Assuming that is what you do).
I sometimes day game with a wing in my city, but we haven’t opened two- sets together. We basically end up opening solo sets. Would be helpful for us to see how you do this.

Just to clarify, I meant opening two-set together with your wing

About “#2 – The Balance Between Nice Guy and Bad Boy”.
My pleasure Nick. Being quoted on your podcast is my idea of 15 minutes of fame, quite flattering.
My full epiphany on the subject is to be found here
