Well in America, anyway. To paraphrase Robert E Howard*, “I’ve never met an American who wasn’t fronting.” Usually I don’t mind such bullshitters because I mentally subtract three points from the girls they claim to be banging and long before I learned Game I never accepted the Argument From Authority. If you want to convince me of an argument I expect to see true premises (supported by evidence) woven into a conclusion with valid argument. I don’t care who is presenting that argument.
I know within thirty seconds of meeting a man if he’s doing well with women. I’ve met a bunch of name coaches, under-the-radar players, and bloggers of repute. Of those I know who has it and who doesn’t. I can’t say the same for commentors. So let me offer a little deal.
If you want to pull the argument from authority and be taken seriously on the basis of that alone, you must prove yourself to be an authority. That means you must send me (krauser@rocksolidgame.co.uk):
- A photo of you that is representative of your SMV
- Photos of the last three girls you fucked (for free), with a note of when you banged them
- Your lifetime laycount and also over last twelve calendar months.
This information will be accepted on an honour basis, so I’ll take you at your word. I figure liars and weasels will easily trap themselves in later comments. I promise to keep the specifics you provide private unless you give me express permission to publically mention it. I won’t share the photos (even if we have a subsequent heated disagreement) and if I refer to your laycount it will be vague. I’ll simply make occasional mention that I saw your evidence and where I rate you.
This is the only way I will take you seriously. Any other attempts to position yourself as a player will be met with derision.

The best is Krav Maga(under Krav Maga Global/Eyal Yanilov) but you won’t learn anything from a book. You have to train with a real person. Maybe later(1 year+) you can try something more aggressive, like Thai Box or something more technical, like BJJ.
And regarding the K’s post: I’d understand this if you were starting some private community discussion board. Otherwise I agree with YouSoWould. [Ok, I’ll bite. The manosphere is full of bullshitters and clowns offering bad advice. I don’t know if he’s for real but he certainly hasn’t offered proof of bona fides and he has an army of supplicators. These men (generally, not talking about G) offer advice in the form of “I’m a playa. I bang hotties. Do this and you can be more like me”. That’s an argument from authority. The only time you should accept it is if that person has proven they really are an authority. Otherwise you should judge them on the quality of their argument alone, as if anyone had proposed it. But how do we establish authority in the manosphere/PUAsphere? There are many legitimate reasons why a genuine authority will not publically post pictures of himself and his girls. Just look at how many haters have tried to take down Roosh and Roissy. So what to do? The only sure way to know is to hang out with a guy in person for several months to watch what he does and which girls come into his life. I did that with Tom Torero, Steve Jabba, Jimmy Jambone, Burto, Jon Matrix and a few others. Realistically there needs to be a less time-intensive way. So I have offered to be an escrow account. I will offer a qualified “not a bullshitter” kitemark on anyone willing to submit to the test. It’s a way to avoid the dangers of being doxed and breaching privacy while still getting some credit as being for real. It’s not arrogance to say my word carries some weight in the community. With that kitemark the noobs have a tool to filter who to consider an authority and who to consider a keyboard warrior. It’s not perfect. It’s a hell of a lot better than letting more Mark Minter’s run riot.

The truth is, many of the PUA’s and manosphere bloggers are simply Internet marketers who are only in it to make a quick buck.
I know this due to my internet marketing knowledge. One of the first things that get taught is the idea of writing for your audience so as to increase your traffic levels. And the only way you can do this is by establishing yourself as an ‘authority’ so your audience can trust you enough to eventually ‘buy’ from you.
Because of this, it makes it very very difficult to distinguish between someone who’s for real and someone who isn’t.
Nick has done/and continues to do this by posting videos of his ‘closes’.
How many guys are there that actually do this?
Approaching and getting numbers is easy. That’s why so many guys are posting videos of it. It’s the things after the number that really counts.
There are only a few guys who I’ve met in person who I can honestly say is the real deal.
Nick and Paul Janka are definitely 2 of them, who i’ve also met in person. I’m sure Steve is too.

Alex, I think what K is saying is that if you’re happy hitting the streets and getting notches without the need for community validation then more power to you. However, if you want to act like an authority figure and possibly get others to pay you for your services then sack up and show some proof.
I’ve read 1 post on G Manifesto’s blog where he talked about GSP the UFC champ respecting his pickup game and that’s all I could handle before I called BS.
I’m also guessing this was in response to the commenter Joel who’s been plastering some over simplified tripe in the comment sections. I think his steps to get laid were “find a group of chicks, bring them to a bar, buy them a shot for pre selection, pick the one you want and fuck her”.
K’s blog is great because he shows the nuance and how you can gain or lose a strong hook off a number of small variables. So for him to put in the time to break down those scenarios for us and then have people challenge him when they clearly haven’t put the time in to read and comprehend the content is something i’m sure gets old quite fast.

I find it an interesting concept. From the other side of the scale (I’m nowhere near your level even before factoring in my decent looks and good logistics), I’ve always thought it interesting to get an assessment of where you’re at from a formidable player such as yourself despite wanting to maintain my anonymity. I care more for my privacy than for my ego stroke, though.
Since you used G Manifesto as an example, do you think it’s possible that even if he is mostly a fictional persona, that the advice can still be solid and applicable? Some of his material really resonates a lot of truth to me.

Authority is determined by the mob. They pick and choose. You may be able to influence it by vouching for certain people, but in the end the quality of the idea comes before the man behind it (for better or worse). Minter’s advice was widely shared. When it later came out he was hypocritical, his status was questioned. There is no one in the manosphere right now who doesn’t know what he did, and can now make a more well informed decision on what to do with his writing.
This bottom-up system, while not perfect, worked in the end, because on a long enough timeline, all phonies will be revealed. Those that have authority status, without proving it, have provided a message that resonates with the people. G’s advice on wearing suits, for example, has helped men get laid, so those men won’t care if it turns out he’s a 300 pound dude living in his mom’s basement. The irony is that the more authority you have, the more you care about other men’s authority. Those with low authority (the average blog lurker) doesn’t care as long as the words help him.
The question on if a man’s character should match his words is a divisive. I believe it should, but many guys disagree with me.

yes, if you want to be positioned as a player. I’m more interested in getting input and insights than giving them. glad to share my own experiences if they’re relevant. but game has helped me move from what would have been a 40ish loser to a more accomplished, more confident guy who can bang girls in their 20’s. Would never make myself out to be anything more than someone ploughing through and trying often times to make sense. Even though he is a good writer there is no evidence of Roosh being any good at pulling hotties. I never believe field or lay reports alone. Roosh has no infields or date clips, let alone f-close vids.
I love this blog for that reason. Nick seems to have banged 60 ish girls. Tom Torero has banged over 130 in the same period and its not true he goes for ugly ones. I did a residential with him and John and Tom had three hotties over in a week, one English one.

It’s not his fault if he has some oddly devoted followers and AFAIUI the guy lives alone in foreign cities for a few months at a time, while needing to work to generate an income. I do a similar thing and, I assure you the dynamics are different. Its tougher daygaming alone in a foreign city for a number of reasons, add you need to factor this in.
No wing man means you will get bored, and your inner frame will be challenged to remain outcome independent. This is especially tricky when many of your leads wont speak your language. The need to constantly work reduces the time you can go gaming, and being alone makes it socially harder as well. Two mates, on holiday for a week or so, walking around a town square is a perfectly natural site for onlookers. A bloke on his own, who lives in the city for three months, and is repeatedly seen direct , daygame approaching in say, a small city like Zagreb, can easily come across as a weirdo. Not good for your SMV! You need to be a bit sensible and socially aware when contemplating these things , and I think Roosh writes well on game.
James Marshall and Liam McRae are not discussed much, but I’ve seen them in action live, they are good. They both have the natural advantage of being tall good looking guys, and they take advantage of it. Its a direct style of approach and their sexual intent is clear from the start. I approached a girl after one of them had (I call it daygamegame) and she remarked that he (McRae) was ‘just staring at me’ and it unsettled her. Who cares if someone is certified. As long as you are not buying something from them, it really doesn’t matter. I try not to beat myself up over the little shit anymore. I’ll go out when it’s dead and I’ll go out when college is in session and hit it hard. Rejections are what is expected. This is why consistency is important, and high approaching, in my opinion.

To me it’s the model that matters, specifically the London Daygame Model, a model that has emerged in a collaborative way from the exhaustive testing and adjustment of a small group of researchers who largely know one another. The Daygame Blueprint and Krauser’s books are the core of my self-study program and they are consistent with one another. The consistency of the model, the collaboration and network of trust, and the occasional evidence (video infields) from apparently independent sources gives me sufficient confidence to invest the time to study and use it. And, when all is said and done, my own results will cement my confidence in the model, and anything new that comes along should have to be compatible with the existing model, same as in the sciences.

I think there is a hefty amount of frauds marketing daygame. Many “gurus” are just trying to make money and fill their bootcamps. In my opinion Steve Jabba, James Marshall and Jon Matrix are operating at a higher level than most others. Especially Jabba and Marshall. They’re dominant, emit confidence, are unreactive, and as Marshall would say “make no apologies for owning a cock”. Their years of experience with women are on full display in their infield vids. It wouldn’t surprise me if Jabba had a lay count of around 500.
