Day Game Top Ten
This is my ranking of the world’s best day gamers. See this post for the rules, and inaugral list. Add submissions and comment there. The list will be updated dynamically as and when I get more evidence.
1. Yad
Why he’s ranked: Yad has the tightest day game I’ve ever seen. He’s calm, centred, masculine, natural and makes every set seem like it’s a normal conversation without any game and yet ends with the girl giving her number, kissing, or following him for the instant date. There’s no try-hard, no gimmicks and he never ever qualifies. That he can do all this without any surface markers of value (e.g. good looks, money, status) proves it can be learned.
Why he’s not higher: Can’t beat number one
The evidence: I have spent six hours with him on a one-on-one and personally witnessed him do about six sets, all consistently high quality game. He’s got the famous ten-minute kiss close video (above) publically available, and at a semniar I went to he showed another three excellent in-fields (including another ten minute kiss close). Other people who’s opinion I respect rate him number one too.
Connections: We know each other but aren’t friends. We have no business connection.
2. Justin Wayne
Why he’s ranked: He’s on a mission to prove his teaching bona fides by posting in-field videos from street pick up to f-close. The vibe is good, the women decent quality and not slutty, and the evidence is there. A few ex-students have come on here to speak highly of him and none against him. Oh yeah, he’s average looking too so it’s pure skill.
Why he’s not higher: I’ve only just starting watching him, so maybe he’ll move up the list. The in-fields are heavily edited so it’s difficult to observe much of his technique. UPDATE – He sent me an unedited 5 minute instant date video with audio. It’s basic natural game from early in his career. Legit.
The evidence: His blog has a few in-fields and plenty of lay reports with unambiguous “proof of lay” photos.
Connections: We know each other a bit. No business connection.
3. Mr X.
Why he’s ranked: Solid efficient daygaming that has netted him alot of lays both from the usual one-on-one style like I use and also high energy 2-sets, same day bounce-backs, and entourage-style PR closes for same night nightclub closes. A broad skillset.
Why he’s not higher: What I’ve seen so far has been most effective on 7s. If I see him get more 8s and 9s he’ll jump up a place. Also, stylistically he’s still a bit “gamey”.
The evidence: Direct experience. I’ve witnessed him in set dozens of times and run 2-sets together.
Connections: Friends and regular wing. No business connection as yet, but will do some ad-hoc work in the future.
4. Tom Torero
Why he’s ranked: He has racked up a large amount of lays from street approaches and has figured out his own niche – the terribly British nice guy who sneaks under the radar until the girl is suddenly being led around by the nose into his bed, with no idea how she got there.
Why he’s not higher: The high laycount has relied upon a high approach count
The evidence: He’s showed me his private video / photo collection to prove over a dozen of the lays. I’ve also been in set with him many times and almost spitroasted a Hungarian stripper with him.
Connections: Friend and wing. No business connection as yet, but we are planning some trips together that’ll involve paying students.
5. Suave
Why he’s ranked: He closes lots of girls on the streets of London and gets them out on dates. He has an extremely laid back manner, great vocal tone, and the best body language I’ve seen in daygame. 100% natural game – learned the hard way
Why he’s not higher: Inconsistent performance, no “magical” sets so far
The evidence: He’s my main wing and I’ve seen him in set well over 100 times and also confirmed subsequent f-closes. There’s also a dozen of his in-field videos floating around, though no recent ones.
Connections: Good friend and business partner. I am not independent on this one.
6. Paul Janka
Why he’s ranked: He’s the only US guy I know who has built a credible daygame system. From watching the Beyond The Digits dvd series he clearly gets it. But can he perform in-field consistently? I don’t know. Everything about his body language, vibe and conversation suggests he’s very good but his infields aren’t great.
Why he’s not higher: Seems to play a glorified numbers game in that he’s just filtering for “yes” girls who like him rather than creating attraction in the “maybe” girls. I consider this a crucial skill for guys who don’t look as good as him. This vid linked is unremarkable, but may have led to a lay.
The evidence: His teaching materials, a few public infields.
Connections: None at all
7. Yosha
Why he’s ranked: He’s really put his foot to the floor to systematise and popularise daygame within the London scene. He’s always out gaming or teaching and has a real passion for the art. His tutorial videos show he “get’s it” and the daygame model he recently formalised is the best I’ve seen so far. I’m thinking he’s more like a great teacher than a great daygamer, but willing to be proven wrong if I see it with my own eyes.
Why he’s not higher: No good in-fields in the public domain.
The evidence: I’ve never seen a full in-field video with audio. I don’t know if they exist. Thus he’s on here through second-hand inference because his teaching shows vast knowledge and Yad is happy to be publically associated with him.
Connections: None. We’d recognised each other in the street but that’s all.
